An unstable biohacker succeeds in controlling the free will of a rat by implanting a chip in its brain using computer prompts. But when his partner ruthlessly seeks to capitalize on their research findings, the betrayed and disillusioned protagonist crosses moral boundaries —hoping this will ultimately allow him to free himself from his own depression.
